When God Shows Up Late — But Right on Time!

We are standing at the edge of April, and maybe for you, the month hasn't gone as expected.

You had plans. You had expectations. You prayed. You sowed. You believed.
But now it feels like nothing is happening. You’re watching the days on the calendar slip by, wondering if God still has time to come through.

Let me remind you: God doesn’t need time—He just needs your faith.

Remember Lazarus? He was dead for four days. Everyone gave up. Even his sisters, Mary and Martha, said, “Lord, if you had been here…” (John 11:21). But Jesus showed up—not when they wanted, but right when Heaven’s glory was about to be revealed.

Sometimes God delays so that no man will share in His glory.

  • There’s still time for your healing.
  • There’s still time for the job offer.
  • There’s still time for restoration in that relationship.
  • There’s still time for the approval, the call, the divine surprise!

Don’t pack up your faith just because the month is almost over.

We serve a God who specializes in 11th-hour turnarounds. The same God who parted the Red Sea when there was no more room to run (Exodus 14:21). The same God who made water gush out from a rock in the wilderness (Exodus 17:6). The same Jesus who told Peter to cast his net one more time, and the overflow nearly sank the boat (Luke 5:4-6).

He is the God of “Nevertheless.”

  •  You may be tired.
  •  You may be confused.
  •  You may be heartbroken.

But still say like Peter: “Nevertheless, at Your word, I will let down the net.”

The month is not over. And neither is God's plan.

Don't allow delay to steal your expectation. Heaven works in divine timing—not your timing. Even if it’s the last second of the last day of the month, God can still intervene.

Prayer Points for Last-Minute Breakthrough & Divine Intervention

  1. Lord, I receive the grace to believe even when it looks like time has run out.
    "Blessed is she who believed, for there shall be a performance of what was spoken..." – Luke 1:45

  2. Father, let every closed door assigned to open this month be unlocked by Your mercy!
    "I will go before you and level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze..." – Isaiah 45:2

  3. God of Lazarus, step into my dead situation and bring it back to life!
    "Jesus said, 'I am the resurrection and the life...'" – John 11:25

  4. Oh Lord, release my long-awaited testimony in these last days of April.
    "At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen." – Isaiah 60:22

  5. I decree by faith: Before this month ends, I shall testify!
    "You will arise and have mercy... for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come." – Psalm 102:13

Keep your hope alive. God is never too late. He’s just setting up a miracle that can’t be denied.

Your testimony will still make it into April’s record. In Jesus’ name!
